The Postgraduate Certificate in Health Research Ethics and Methodology (PCHREM) program marked a pivotal point in my academic and professional growth, driven by a commitment to ethical and evidence-based nursing research. Recognizing the importance of ethical frameworks and robust methodologies, the program bridged theoretical knowledge with practical applications, preparing me for a Ph.D. in Nursing at the University of Ghana under the Carnegie Corporation of New York (CCNY) Scholarship. The skills gained aim to enable impactful research that adheres to ethical standards while advancing nursing practice, academia, and policy, particularly for vulnerable populations like the elderly, women, and children. I aspire to become a leader in nursing academia and research, driving innovative solutions to critical healthcare challenges. Gratitude is expressed to PI Professor Veronica Njie Carr, Mentors (Dr. Jainaba Sey-Sawo and Prof Oduwole) faculty members, and colleagues of the GamREMTI program for their invaluable support in this journey.
