The overarching goal of the Gambia Research Ethics and Methodology Training Initiative (GamREMTI) is to strengthen leadership capacity and expertise. Consequently, the program will strengthen the research enterprise and contribute to the capacity development efforts in The Gambia.
This 5-year grant funding is supported by the Fogarty International Center of the National Institutes of Health.
The GamREMTI 2026 Workshop began on a high note, bringing together scholars and professionals committed to advancing research ethics and methodology across Africa, while also marking a significant milestone, celebrating five years of success and impact in strengthening research ethics capacity in The Gambia.
