The GamREMTI Team held an orientation for the fourth cohort of scholars enrolled in the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Research Ethics and Methodology (PCHREM) Program. The orientation brought together the newly admitted scholars, program faculty, investigators, and key representatives from partner institutions to officially welcome the new cohort and introduce them to the program.
The orientation was chaired by Dr. Henry Silverman, who welcomed the scholars and provided an overview of the program, its objectives, and the importance of strengthening capacity in research ethics and methodology.
Among the distinguished speakers at the orientation were Dr. Lang Sanyang, Directorate Office of Research, Innovation, and Consultancy, UTG, Mr. Farba Faye, Head of Governance and Research Support, MRCG, and Provost Professor Gabriel Ogun, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences. The speakers shared valuable insights on research, ethics, professional development, and the opportunities available to scholars through the program.
